When submitting a tutor application, there's a few tips we'd like to offer you.

Your application will be accepted or rejected based on the following: 

Your profile:

We want you to receive lots of tuition requests so we advise that your profile is of a high standard. Follow these tips to ensure it is:

• Profile Picture
  Make sure your picture is professional and of good quality, in which you look smart and friendly. This is at the top of our list because your picture plays an important part in representing your professionalism - it's also the first thing that will grab the attention of our students!
• Bio
  In your bio, include information that is relevant to you and your field of tutoring. For example, your academic/professional achievements, your previous tutoring experience, your tutoring style, any expertise you have with specific curriculums or exam boards and something interesting (and fun!) about you. If your bio is a little limited, we may ask you to make amendments before we can display your profile on our platform.
• Your subjects
  Make sure you only select a subject/subjects which you are qualified and/or have relevant experience with. You can select multiple subjects so make sure you check our entire list of subjects when setting up your profile!

ID:
An important part of the application process involves us verifying your ID. Therefore, it's vital that you provide us with a clear, colour copy of your photo ID and proof of address document (where needed). Not doing so will delay the application process for you.

DBS:
After completing your application, you will need to send us a clear, colour copy of your DBS certificate (which must have been awarded to you within 3 years from the date of your application!) via email. This is to ensure the safety of our students and allow students and their families to trust in you as their tutor.
